We are looking for 1 or 2 reliable, hard-working Kitchen Support Assistants to become part of our close-knit team. This role is more than just pot wash — we need and will reward someone who takes real pride in cleanliness, organisation and supporting a busy service environment.
Our kitchen is small, professional and quality-focused, so maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times is essential.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting both the kitchen and front of house teams. Responsibilities include:
- Keeping all kitchen areas spotless and sanitised at all times
- Washing and maintaining all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment
- Managing the pot wash and dish wash areas efficiently during service
- Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the day
- Cleaning extraction filters and kitchen equipment
- Managing kitchen cloth laundry on-site using our washing facilities
- Monitoring and organising cleaning chemicals and informing management when stock needs ordering
- Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away
- Maintaining refuse and recycling areas
- Supporting front of house by polishing cutlery, plates and glassware when required
- Assisting chefs with basic prep jobs when needed
- Following all cleaning schedules and food hygiene procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Someone proactive who notices what needs doing without being asked
- Pride in maintaining very high cleanliness standards
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Availability to work evenings and weekends

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
