UAVTEK is looking for practical, detail-focused Assembly Technicians to join our growing team working on cutting-edge unmanned systems (drones). This is a hands-on role building professional-grade equipment used in real-world applications.
You’ll join a small, friendly team in a fast-paced environment where quality, reliability, and teamwork matter.
Working Hours
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 / 09:00-17:30
- Part-time / evenings / weekends: Flexible options available
We currently have an active production requirement requiring additional assembly support immediately, with strong potential for longer-term opportunities for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components to a high standard
- Build drones, sub-assemblies, and electronic modules
- Install wiring looms, connectors, and cable assemblies
- Carry out basic testing and quality checks
- Follow engineering drawings and work instructions
- Complete build documentation and records
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Requirements
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, electronics, or similar hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
- Confident using hand tools
- Able to follow instructions accurately and work methodically
- Reliable, organised, and a good team player
- Basic IT skills
- Available for full-time work or flexible evening/weekend shifts
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Soldering experience
- Familiarity with multimeters or electronic test equipment
- Experience with drones, robotics, RC systems, or similar technologies
