Half Million Café is actively seeking an experienced Cashier to join our London team and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring smooth and efficient front-of-house operations.
Half Million Café was founded in 2018 in Saudi Arabia. Named after its initial investment amount, Half Million is rapidly expanding, opening around four new stores per month across Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking energetic team members to join the Flagship store in London and be part of our exciting international expansion journey.
Your responsibilities include:
- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming café experience.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, card, and digital transactions while maintaining accuracy at all times.
- Promote menu items, beverages, and seasonal offers through suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience.
- Answer customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable cashier and front counter area.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and barista teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Assist with opening and closing cash procedures, including cash reconciliation.
- Follow all company policies and health, safety, and hygiene standards.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic personality.
- Strong experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Confidence in suggestive selling and upselling products to maximise sales opportunities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced café environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
- Authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Work Schedule: 8 - 11 hour shift
Café Working Hours: Monday – Sunday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
