Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Featherstone who are looking for Manufacturing Packing Operatives to join their busy team.
About The Role:
To work as part of a team, manufacturing to produce qualify finished products in a safe and efficient manner in line with business demands.
The operative will alongside their team provide effective, timely and efficient working practices throughout all departments within the factory.
This is a temporary ongoing role, which could lead to a permanent contract.
You will work Monday to Friday 9.00am to 17.00pm for the first 1 weeks training.
Once training is finished you will move onto a continental shift pattern (including weekends)
Continental shift pattern on rotating days and nights, 6.40am - 19.00pm and 18.40pm - 7.00am
Fully paid breaks
Pay Rates are £12.71
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manually packaging products off the machinery
- Machine minding ensuring they are running smoothly
- Loading and unloading stock on machinery
- Report any machine issues
- Packaging products ready for dispatch
- Assisting the production processes across the site
- Undertaking Site Safety and Health & Safety Training
- Full training is provided for all aspects of the role
About you:
- Previous experience within manufacturing would be an advantage although full training is provided
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good numeracy and English Language skills both verbal and written
- Can demonstrate working in a safe manner and do good H&S practices Accurate and pays attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure.
