Rugby, Warwickshire | Immediate Start | 24 hours per week
Pinnacle Care is seeking a reliable and practical Maintenance Worker to take independent charge of maintenance at one of our Care Homes in Rugby.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in maintaining a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for our residents and staff. You’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks, supporting health and safety compliance, and responding promptly to repair needs across the home, as directed by the Registered Manager.
Hours & Schedule
- Days: Flexible across 3 or 4 weekdays
- Hours: 24 hours per week, either 8:00am – 4:00pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm (to be agreed with the manager)
The Role
As Maintenance Worker, you will:
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the home
- Complete routine health and safety checks and ensure compliance standards are maintained
- Undertake minor works including carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing and plastering (dependent on experience/qualifications)
- Identify and report any larger maintenance issues requiring specialist contractors
- Help ensure the home remains safe, functional and welcoming at all times

- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role (essential)
- A practical, proactive and reliable approach
- Good awareness of health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
