Job Summary
Gillies Stonecrafts & Landscapes are looking for a hardworking and reliable trainee to join our team in Aberdeen.
The work carried out is physical and hands-on, full in-house training will be provided in landscaping, paving, groundworks, drainage and general construction work. Working within the team provides the chance to learn valuable trade skills.
No experience is required for the role. The ideal candidate is to be punctual, willing and carries the correct attitude towards work.
Initially the role will be 3 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full time role if the fit is right.
Duties
- Assisting with landscaping projects
- Preparing and mixing materials
- Assisting with paving and cutting
- Loading/unloading tools and materials
- General upkeep of site cleanliness
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work outdoors (Possibly in adverse conditions)
- Driving license preffered but not essential
- Previous experience not required but helps
- Positive attitude
- Physically fit/capable of manual labour
Pay: £10.85-£12.00 per hour
