Salary & Benefits
£40,000 – £42,000 starting salary (pro rata for part-time)
- Up to 10% performance bonus
- £1,000 salary increases at 6 and 12 months
- Monday to Friday schedule – no evenings, nights, or weekends
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)
- Option to purchase up to 5 additional days

The Role As a Clinical Assessor, you will:
- Conduct structured telephone and face-to-face assessments
- Evaluate how physical and mental health conditions impact daily living and work capability
- Review medical evidence and functional history
- Produce clear, accurate, evidence-based clinical reports
- Manage a structured caseload independently
A professional, analytical role focused on clinical reasoning rather than treatment delivery.
Fully Paid Training & Support You will complete a comprehensive paid training programme before working independently. Ongoing mentoring and clinical support are provided throughout your career.
No previous assessor experience required.
Essential Criteria
- Active NMC or HCPC registration
- Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience (adult-focused)
- Experience managing complex health conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident IT skills and typing ability
- Ability to manage workload independently
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
