Summary
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be essential in delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, your core skills in restaurant operations, serving, and food safety will enable you to take orders, serve food, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your premium skills in hospitality will enhance guest interactions, while relevant skills such as food preparation and time management will support efficient service. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Take and accurately process food and drink orders while ensuring food safety standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring a high level of hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns to enhance their dining experience.
- Clean down and close the restaurant effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in a serving role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is desirable.
- Excellent hospitality and guest service skills are a must.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash-up are advantageous.
