Truck Driver/HGV with HIAB
Duties:
- Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, dates, and quantities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to handle physical demands of loading/unloading cargo
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
