Job Title: Compliance Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Hybrid Working/ Remote working - Minimum 1 day per month at our London Head Office (Vauxhall, London)
Additional office attendance may occasionally be required for audits, meetings or business needs
Hours:
Option 1: 2 days per week, 8 hours per day
Option 2: Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Total: 16 hours per week
Salary: £17.00 - £17.50 per hour
There may be opportunities for additional hours and progression to a full-time position as the business continues to grow, or for the right candidate willing to take on wider responsibilities.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Manager to take ownership of our compliance framework, accreditations and audit programme.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, organisation and maintaining exceptionally high standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring our policies, procedures, evidence and documentation remain accurate, current and audit-ready at all times, while supporting the business through internal reviews, external audits and accreditation renewals.
Whilst previous compliance experience is desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Accreditation Management
Lead and manage the Company's accreditation programme, including:
- SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)
- ISO Standards
- PAS Standards
- Constructionline
- Cyber Essentials
- COP119
- Any future accreditations or certifications
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accreditation schedules
- Preparing evidence and supporting documentation
- Managing submissions and renewals
- Coordinating external assessments
- Tracking corrective actions
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements
Audit Management
- Lead preparations for external audits.
- Coordinate audit evidence gathering.
- Maintain audit records and action plans.
- Support auditors during assessments.
- Ensure all audit recommendations are completed within agreed timescales.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and gap analyses.
Documentation Control
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all documentation remains compliant with current legislation, standards and best practice guidance.
- Manage document version control.
- Maintain compliance registers and trackers.
- Ensure all documents are professionally formatted and aligned with company branding standards.
Regulatory Compliance
Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards including:
- Security Industry Authority requirements
- Employment legislation
- GDPR and Data Protection requirements
- Health & Safety legislation
- BS7858 and security industry standards
- Industry best practice guidance
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to strengthen compliance processes.
- Recommend improvements to systems, documentation and governance.
- Support the development of new policies and procedures.
- Assist with business improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a culture of compliance and accountability throughout the organisation.
Reporting
Produce regular reports covering:
- Compliance status
- Accreditation performance
- Audit outcomes
- Outstanding actions
- Risks and recommendations
Reports should be accurate, professional and suitable for senior management review.

Desirable Experience
- Previous compliance, governance or quality management experience
- Experience supporting audits or accreditation processes
- Knowledge of ISO standards
- Experience within security, facilities management, property management or professional services
- Familiarity with document control systems
- Experience working in regulated environments
Please note: Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for candidates who can demonstrate strong organisational ability, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will:
- Maintain all accreditations with successful audit outcomes.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are current and audit-ready.
- Establish robust compliance trackers and document controls.
- Improve visibility of compliance performance across the business.
- Deliver consistently high standards of evidence management and audit preparation.
- Become the central point of contact for all compliance and accreditation activities.
Important Requirement
Due to the Company's annual audit programme and accreditation renewal schedule, the successful candidate must be available to work throughout the month of May each year.
May is a critical period for external audits, accreditation assessments and compliance reviews, and therefore annual leave will not normally be approved during May, except in exceptional circumstances and at the Company's absolute discretion.
