Are you passionate about supporting young people? Do you want to gain new skills and be part of an inspiring team? The Aberystwyth Sea Cadets are looking for enthusiastic Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) to join our unit and help shape the future of young cadets, aged 9-17.
What you’ll do:
- Mentor and guide cadets as they learn key life skills like teamwork, leadership, and discipline.
- Assist with fun and exciting activities including sailing, kayaking, first aid, and adventure training.
- Support the running of cadet evenings and events, helping to create a positive, structured environment.
- Work closely with a team of like-minded volunteers to inspire the next generation.
What we’re looking for:
- Enthusiasm and a desire to work with young people.
- A commitment to volunteering a few hours per week.
- No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn! Full training will be provided.
