Warehouse General Assistant/ Groundsman
Due to continued growth we are looking for a multiskilled person to join our warehouse team at Ballinluig. The position will consist mainly of groundswork in the summer months- lawn mowing/strimming/jet washing . And in the winter you will do minimal grounds work and move into the mail order warehouse to support the operation there at the busiest time of year. There will be a requirement to work one weekend day each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing / lawn maintenance
- power washing
- General warehouse duties such as picking and packing
What we are looking for:
- Basic computer skills
- Organised and methodical worker
- Ability to work quickly and to deadlines
- Ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
Who we need:
- To work in a quick, accurate and diligent manner at all times ensuring the company’s stock and property is protected
- To be security conscious in regards to company and customer property
- Good team-working skills, with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a larger team
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Reliability, ability to work on a flexible basis, some overtime expected.
Some previous grounds experience would be desirable however you must possess a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in delivering high standards and training can be given to the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
