Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate food production schedules to meet service demands
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative culinary techniques
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and manage inventory levels effectively
- Serve meals to guests when required, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organisation throughout shifts
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on quality service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in culinary roles with exposure to menu development and food presentation is desirable
