Overview
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Mothers Help at weekends to provide help with our family of 6 for children aged 1, 6, 9 & 11. The role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with children and is looking to assist the parents with various childcare and household tasks.
Duties
- Provide attentive childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Drive children to school, activities and appointments when required.
- Looking after baby during nap times.
- Occasional babysitting.
- Light housekeeping tasks to include tidying up, laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher and making beds etc.
- Assist with meal preparation.
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or nannying is highly desirable and be over 30 years of age.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities and play.
- A full clean driving licence is essential for transporting children safely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a family team dynamic.
- Opportunity for additional days in the week if desired and dependant on skills.
Experience with horses/ponies preferred but not essential to assist with children's ponies at Pony Club and care of other animals, chickens, guinea pigs and dogs.
A full DBS check and character references will be required.
