Job Summary:
JUSRES Research Publishing & Scientific Communications Ltd is seeking a visionary and accomplished Chief Research & Innovation Officer to lead the organization's research strategy, innovation initiatives, scientific publishing programs, and knowledge development efforts. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of research excellence, drive innovation, expand strategic partnerships, and strengthen the organization's position as a leader in scientific communications and research publishing.
We are looking for a forward-thinking executive who can combine research expertise, innovation leadership, and strategic business insight to deliver impactful outcomes across research, publishing, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute the organization's research, innovation, and scientific development strategy
- Lead research programs, publishing initiatives, innovation projects, and knowledge management activities
- Identify emerging research trends, scientific opportunities, and innovation priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, industry leaders, and stakeholders
- Oversee scientific publishing standards, research quality, and editorial excellence initiatives
- Drive innovation programs that support organizational growth and thought leadership
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align research investments with long-term business objectives
- Secure and expand research partnerships, funding opportunities, and collaborative projects
- Monitor performance metrics and evaluate the impact of research and innovation initiatives
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing research, editorial, and innovation teams
Requirements:
- Experience in research leadership, scientific publishing, innovation management, academic administration, knowledge management, or related executive roles
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, scientific communications, and innovation strategies
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development skills
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to translate research insights into organizational growth opportunities
- Experience overseeing large-scale research, publishing, or innovation programs
- Advanced academic qualifications or equivalent professional leadership experience are advantageous but not essential

Pay: £11,500.00-£18,500.00 per month
