Project & Compliance Coordinator (Solar & Electrical)

Full time position that could work as a flexible part time position also.
£28,000 – £35,000 pro rata (DOE)
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our projects once they’re sold — managing everything from initial setup through to installation, compliance, and final handover.
This is a key role in a growing renewable energy company and will quickly develop into a full-time position for the right person.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will be expected to manage jobs from the point of sale through to completion, including:
Project Setup
- Creating job files and organising all project information
- Issuing deposit invoices and confirming install dates with customers
DNO Applications
- Submitting G98/G99 applications
- Tracking approvals and chasing where required
- Keeping the team updated on progress
MCS & Compliance
- Preparing MCS documentation and proposals
- Ensuring all system details are correctly recorded
- Organising handover packs and certification
Scheduling & Coordination
- Liaising with engineers and customers
- Supporting live installs and resolving issues as they arise
- Managing any changes or variations to jobs
Materials & Planning
- Ordering equipment and checking lead times
- Ensuring installs are fully prepared ahead of start dates
Completion & Payments
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed and issued
- Supporting invoice processes and ensuring jobs are closed properly
What We’re Looking For
This role suits someone who:
- Is highly organised and proactive
- Can manage multiple projects at once
- Is confident speaking with both customers and engineers
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for instruction
- Wants to grow into a long-term role within the business
Experience in solar, construction, or electrical work is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
