Kindred are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaning supervisor to be based in an educational building located in Walton on the Naze, Essex.
Details:
- Pay: £13.33/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 15.30- 18.30
- Location: Walton on the Naze, Essex, CO14 8TE
- Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Perform and oversee routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and replenishing supplies.
- Train, motivate, and monitor cleaning team members, providing guidance on the safe and effective use of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Kindred’s policies, health & safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, placing orders when required.
- Prepare work schedules and allocate tasks to ensure efficient workflow and coverage.
- Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues promptly, escalating where necessary.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment for all team members, aligned with Kindred’s values.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to management and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency and standards.
