Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our team at Fountain Frozen Ltd. Located in Wisbech, this role is essential to our operations, contributing to the production of high-quality frozen products that meet our customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- To work within the agreed manufacturing specifications, packing and inspecting as per customer standards.
- To check bag and carton codes and enter data into spreadsheet.
- To use correct packaging.
- To check seals and bag condition
- To ensure correct colour baskets are being used.
- To have an awareness of bulk, seconds and waste and report immediately when target limits are reached.
- To be responsible for recording seconds.
- To be responsible for carrying out and recording the checks on the finished product at the designated frequency and action if the quality of the product is compromised. If necessary, contact the Team leader/Technical.
- To liase with team and machine minders.
- To support, assist and contribute to the team.
- To ensure ‘clean as you go’ policy is adhered to.
- To stand in and relieve machine minders when required.
- To assist machine minders during changeovers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
