Based in the heart of the picturesque Calder Valley, our three wonderful schools — Central Street Nursery & Infants School, Riverside Junior School and Stubbings Nursery & Infants School — they may be situated across three different sites, but together we are one big family. We work closely as a team to ensure every child receives the very best learning experience.
We are looking to appoint experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our fantastic team.

We currently have the following vacancies:
KS1 Teacher (FT) – MPR/NQT – Sabbatical Cover (Fixed Term)
Required from: September 2026 (Autumn/Spring Term 26/27) - based at Stubbings
KS2 Teacher (0.6 FTE) – MPR/NQT - (12 months Fixed Term)
Required from: September 2026 based at Riverside (Monday – Wednesday)
Upper KS2 Teacher (FT) – MPR/NQT – (Maternity Cover)
Required from: September 2026 based at Riverside
We are looking for individuals who:
are passionate about teaching and learning and committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children
have high expectations of behaviour, achievement and inclusion
are enthusiastic, caring and able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
can inspire, motivate and engage pupils through creative and effective practice
are reflective practitioners who are keen to develop professionally and contribute to school improvement
work well as part of a team and
are willing to play an active role in the wider life of the school
are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
