Cafe Assistant – Apley Farm Shop
Apley Farm Shop is a small historic complex of farm buildings home to a Foodhall with Deli, Butchery and onsite baked goods, Kitchen Cafe serving local and seasonal produce, indoor Playbarn, outdoor play area and Nature Trail. It is also home to a range of small local businesses within a beautiful courtyard setting.
Requirement – Café Assistant – Kitchen Cafe
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, coffee and great customer service.
The cafe assistant supports the supervisor by ensuring that the cafe is open on time and to standard each day, ensures the highest possible level of service, works in a tidy and efficient manner and cleans and re-stocks prior to the next day.
This role is perfect for someone that is positive, hard-working and champions great customer service.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food preparation
- Knowledge of stock rotation and date checking
- Experience in a role which requires cash handling
- Previous experience with Barista coffee machines preferred
What are the working hours and pay?
This is a part time role with variable hours. Weekend working is essential.
Please note that on rare occasions you may be required to work an evening.
