Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Weekend work available)
We are currently recruiting an experienced Slinger Signaller for a large commercial roofing project in Somerset starting on 1st September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-organised commercial project, with work expected to continue for approximately 4–5 months through the autumn and winter period.
Duties
- Carrying out slinging and signalling duties for lifting operations
- Attaching and securing loads safely for lifting
- Directing lifting equipment operators using recognised signalling methods
- Unloading deliveries and coordinating material movements
- Assisting with the safe distribution of materials to scaffold loading bays
- Ensuring all lifting activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures
Requirements
- CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller
- Previous experience working as a Slinger Signaller on construction sites
- Valid CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Own PPE
- Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach
