A leading UK manufacturer operating one of the region’s most advanced production facilities is looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their high-performing engineering team.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving production performance across a busy manufacturing site.
You’ll be responsible for:

Electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production machinery

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities

Reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime

Working on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pumps, PLCs and control systems

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades

Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and to high standards

Working closely with production teams to maximise plant efficiency
What we’re looking for
-
Apprentice trained or qualified engineer (Electrical or Multi-Skilled)

Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industry environments

Strong electrical fault finding abilities

Experience with PLC fault finding and automated machinery

Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
