Mid Gavin Nursery is currently looking for a Qualified, Senior Early Years Practitioner with at least 3 years experience to work in our 0-2 year old room. The position is full time -40 hours a week. The successful candidate should be able to:
- Have excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills
- Nurture and interact with young children ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Plan, evaluate and record learning experiences
- Have an understanding of Child Development from birth onwards
- work effectively using initiative
- Confident when speaking and updating parents
- Ensure paper work is up to date.
- Knowledge of Curriculum for excellence and Pre Birth to Three.
- Motivation to develop areas within the room.
You will be responsible for leading your team and creating a stimulating environment which allow children to thrive and learn in a warm and welcoming setting.
Successful candidate must be qualified with an HNC Early Education and Childcare or SVQ3 equivalent.
Salary will depend on Experience & Qualifications- negotiable
Please note that the candidate will be asked to undergo a Disclosure Scotland PVG check and will need to register with SSSC once they are emplyed with the company.
