Excell Supply are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across the Ellesmere Port area.

The Role
As a Primary Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide targeted learning support.
- Assist children with varying educational needs, including those with additional learning needs.
- Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or educational setting.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
