We are currently looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to assist in the smooth running of the warehouse department at our busy factorys in Boston and Kirton. Suitable candidates must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift for the Kirton site and both Counterbalance and Reach Truck license for the Boston site.
Job Description:
- Receipt of raw materials & accurately checking anticipated volumes against actual delivery.
- Inputting received stock onto system
- Referencing stock as required
- Putting away stock into relevant stores
- Picking orders accurately to customer requirements
- Promoting good health & safety throughout, & highlighting any potential issues
- Liaising with relevant haulage companies
- Daily checking of forklifts & barrows to ensure good working condition, including observation and recommendations
- Maintaining a clean & hygienic environment
- Be aware of Quality issues with raw materials (E.g. Temperature issues on intake / Broken- Leaning loads)
- Load / Unload lorries within time constraints
- Adhere to Health and Safety always
The Warehouse Team work 12 hour days on a rotating shift pattern (2,2,3).
