Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
This is a physical role and will be based in our workshop in Mancetter, Atherstone.
This role will require a good understanding of diesel combustion engines, electrical systems; 12, 24 & 240V and hydraulic systems.
It is important that you are comfortable managing your own time and being in charge of your own project.
Good communication and a strong ‘can do’ attitude is essential. You must also have a pragmatic work approach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage time to ensure smooth flow of projects and deadlines are met
- Quality workmanship and excellent attention to detail
- Ordering of materials/parts in a timely manner
- Timely & accurate completion of paperwork
- Proactive consideration for maintaining H&S & quality standards
Essential:
- Must have a valid UK driving license as you will be expected to drive company vehicles from time to time
- Must be able to use a smart phone & software apps
- Knowledge of marinised engines
- Beta and Barrius marine engines & electrics
Desirable:
- Agricultural/construction engineering experience
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- First Aid trained
- Welding/fabrication experience
Salary depending on experience.
Full time working hours, 7am - 5pm.
Overtime may be available including weekends.
