Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (37.5)
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Planner to join our dynamic team. This role involves efficiently coordinating and planning poling activities, while liaising with clients, partners, and poling operatives to ensure smooth operations and meet expectations in the market.
Our client Openreach have the largest Telecom infrastructure in the UK. Our department work closely with Openreach to help design, maintain and build this network by providing and replacing telegraph poles.

Responsibilities
- Plan day to day activities for poling gangs including the request of permits, traffic management and 3rd party joint site meetings
- Ensure work is executed on the day and systems are updated accordingly
- Keep management and our external clients informed in the project progress
- Attend and lead on calls/meetings with our partners and customers
- Making sure additional costs are captured before progressing through to the commercial team
Experience and skills
- Planning and scheduling of engineering resource
- Understanding of streetworks and permitting
- Previous experience of working on the Openreach network would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, ensure deadlines are met and manage business expectations.
- Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
- Strong IT skills (experience with Microsoft applications preferrable)
