We are recruiting an experienced car transporter driver to operate aTractor Unit and Voyager 2 (7) car trailer. This is a full time position.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF OPERATING A CAR TRANSPORTER IS ESSENTIAL
Main duties will include the collection and delivery of new vehicles from Solihull and delivery to Stone throughtout the night.
During factory shutdown periods some flexibility will be required to either take annual leave or to operate on a day shift or roaming.
You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles accurately before loading and completing paperwork. You will be required to use our APP to complete vehicle inspections/update our systems etc.
Operating days are Monday to Friday.

Candidates will require;
- A valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 points
- A valid CPC & Digi Taco card
- Must have a minimum of 2 years H.G.V. Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
- Must have own transport to and from base site.
- Are willing to work away from home each week (Monday through to Friday, occasional Saturdays).
- Must be able to wear a full Company uniform
- Must be clean and presentable at all times.
- Must take care and have pride in their work.
- Must give good customer service.
Nights out are paid on top of this advertised salary and expenses reimbursed for parking etc
Transporter will be based in the Midlands (Cannock) area.
