PSV Engineering Foreman
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working with PSV vehicles/coaches.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Solid understanding of DVSA compliance and preventative maintenance.
- Experience leading a team or running a workshop (highly beneficial).
The Role A hands-on leadership position combining active mechanical work with daily workshop management.
- Maintenance & Repair: Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and defect rectification to ensure high vehicle reliability and first-time fixes.
- Workshop Management: Plan workloads, manage planned maintenance schedules, oversee parts/stock control, and liaise with suppliers.
- Leadership & Compliance: Lead and develop the engineering team, maintain strict DVSA compliance, keep accurate records, and work with senior management on fleet improvements.
