The role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work with individuals and small groups to develop key literacy, numeracy and language skills.
- Provide in‑class support for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD and other additional needs.
- Help students regulate behaviour and re‑engage positively with learning through ALR and ALR Plus provision.
- Create and adapt resources that meet the needs of individual learners.
- Keep detailed records of interventions, progress, meetings and liaison with families or agencies.
- Support SEND processes including referrals to CAMHS/OT, ADHD/ASC pathways, and SEND Register updates.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and the SENCO to remove barriers to learning and promote inclusion.
