Cover People are working with a welcoming primary school in Levenshulme who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and help them thrive both academically and emotionally within the classroom.
- Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Assisting children with learning, communication and emotional regulation

Supporting behaviour and classroom engagement

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Creating a calm, positive and structured learning environment
- Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD or similar desirable)

Patient, resilient and nurturing approach

Confident supporting behaviour and additional needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills

DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
