Sales Ledger Specialist
Near York | Up to £32,000 DOE | Office-Based
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established and well-respected business in a role that combines both Sales Ledger and Credit Control responsibilities.
Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you'll take ownership of customer accounts, helping to ensure invoices are processed accurately, payments are collected promptly and strong customer relationships are maintained.

What you'll get involved in
- Raising and processing customer invoices
- Allocating incoming payments
- Maintaining customer account records
- Preparing customer statements and Direct Debit collections
- Reconciling sales ledger balances and investigating discrepancies
- Monitoring outstanding debt and managing collections activity
- Building strong customer relationships
- Reviewing credit applications and recommending credit limits
- Producing aged debt reports and commentary
- Supporting month-end and intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting the wider finance team where required
Who this is for
You'll likely be someone who:
- Has experience within Sales Ledger or Credit Control
- Enjoys building relationships and communicating with customers

- Is confident using Excel and finance systems
