Job Overview
We are seeking a confident and competent bathroom fitter to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting bathrooms, including first and second fix plumbing, and assembling/ fitting bathroom furniture. This position is suitable for individuals who take pride in their work, and are able to pay close attention to detail.
The ability to tile to a high standard would be ideal but is not a requirement.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Interpret designs and drawings to fit bathrooms
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to perform tasks related to fitting bathrooms
- Tiling is highly desireable, but not essential
- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot issues during installation or fabrication processes and resolve them promptly.
- Friendly and professional manner with clients
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in bathroom fitting
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret designs accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are desirable but not essential.
