Head Chef (Live-in Available)
Location: The Inn at Àird a’ Bhàsair, Isle of Skye
Guaranteed Earnings of £40,000 per annum
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our busy hotel, bar and restaurant on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with high-quality local produce, particularly fresh seafood, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent food from a focused, seasonal menu.
The position is available on either a permanent or seasonal basis.
The Role
* Lead and organise a small kitchen team.
* Deliver consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Create and develop seasonal menus featuring fresh local produce, seafood and daily catch specials.
* Manage ordering, stock control, stock rotation and food cost management.
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
* Train, support and motivate the kitchen team.
* Work closely with management to continually improve the food offering.
About You
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up.
* Excellent knowledge of fresh seafood and seasonal produce.
* A calm, organised leader who thrives in a busy service environment.
* Strong kitchen management and organisational skills.
* Passionate about producing consistently high-quality food.

What We Offer
* Guaranteed earnings of £40,000 per annum.
* £37,000 basic salary, with a management guarantee ensuring total annual earnings of at least £40,000. If tips do not bring your annual income to £40,000, we will make up the difference.
