Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Food Manufacturing

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a major food manufacturer and part of a highly successful international group, for a Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or Multi Skilled Engineer looking to join a stable, well-invested manufacturing business offering long-term career progression, job security and excellent earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working on conveyors, motors, sensors, control panels, packaging machinery and production equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Minimising downtime and ensuring production targets are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and food safety
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Shift Engineer
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills within manufacturing or FMCG
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, automation or production environments is highly desirable
- PLC fault finding experience would be advantageous

Pay: £50,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
