Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Interior Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various interior maintenance and refurbishment tasks to ensure high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Assisting with the installation, repair, and finishing of interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and flooring
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints or coverings
- Applying paint, wallpaper, or other decorative finishes according to specifications
- Fitting fixtures and fittings including skirting boards, architraves, and decorative mouldings
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Experience
- Previous experience in interior refurbishment, decoration, or related trades is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of different materials, tools, and techniques used in interior work is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or instructions is a plus
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a construction or maintenance environment
