Candor Vets is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Hospital Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in Cheshire. This role is with a well-established practice known for its commitment to high-quality patient care and a supportive working environment.
The Role
This is a sole charge position within the hospital's dedicated night team, requiring prior experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for inpatients and managing out-of-hours emergency and A&E cases. The role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, supported by a team of experienced night nurses throughout shifts. A typical rota involves 7 nights on (9pm–9am, 12-hour shifts) followed by 14 nights off, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The practice is committed to delivering gold-standard care and provides access to advanced equipment, including a CT scanner, Doppler echocardiography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, digital radiography suites, ultrasound scanners, dental radiography, electrocautery, laparoscopy, and advanced anaesthesia equipment. An ECC certificate is desirable but not essential, and full support can be provided for candidates wishing to pursue one.
