We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls promptly, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and directing calls as necessary.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in our computerised systems.
- Utilise for basic financial transactions and record keeping as required.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
