Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to organisational tasks. Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Xero
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and calendar management for team members
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Supporting invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping processes using Xero
- Handling general administrative duties
- Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Experience
- Office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential, training can be provided
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
