We are looking for a right hand to join our landscaping team with the skills to primarily install decking but also help with our landscaping needs. This is a labour intensive role.
We are a small business located in Kirkby-in-Ashfield and cover around a 20mile radius, on some occasions we do go further afield but not often. We do require you to start each morning from our depot in Kirkby-in-Ashfield
General work will include removing and installing new decking but depending on projects you will be landscaping for example a new patio, re-turfing, artificial grass, fencing, driveways and outdoor structures. On some occasions you will be asked to help with internal work labouring for our installations team, this will be not very common.
We do have high standards of workmanship and our customers do expect this of us, so your work must be perfect each time.
We are looking for someone to join our team who can work using there initiative and can be left to work without supervision as times the team leader will have to leave site for a couple of hours, candidates must be polite and have a clean appearance.
It would be beneficially if the candidate has a full clean driving licence to drive the work vehicles with trailers and you may use them for personal use with approval.
All uniform is provided for you on your start date.
On application if you could provide some evidence of previous projects you have completed this would be most advantages.
You are required to have some of your own basic tools e.g. drill, impact driver & Hand tools
*Between the second week in February and the first week in November we work a 4 day week working 10 hours a day 07:00-17:30 which means you will have Fridays off. On some occasions you will be expected to work the Friday to catch up or finish projects.*
*Between the first week in November and the Second week in February we revert back to a 5 day working week with the working hours of 07:30-16:00.*
