We are looking for Relief/Bank Support Workers to work with adults with learning disabilities, Mental health and Autism in their home.
You will be prepared to develop your skills and be open to learning opportunities.
As a support worker you will:
- Treat everyone with kindness, dignity and respect.
- Support each service user to make decisions relating to their care.
- Ensure service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Support service users with all aspects of their day-to-day living, enabling them to enjoy the best possible quality of life.
- Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support service users are followed.
- Adhere to the companies Policies, Procedures and guidelines
- Support service user to gain skills of activities of daily living such as cooking, laundry and cleaning.
- Assist with personal care if and where required.
- Support service users with applications relating to jobs, Uni and college.
- Support service user with their personal shopping, paying bills and book/record keeping.
- Be flexible to support service user in according to their choice, wishes, aspiration and changing needs.
- Be responsible for informing the manager of any changing needs of the service user.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service user.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
