Curriculum Development Manager – Automotive

Salary: £43,533 to £46,182 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Castleford College
We are looking for a Curriculum Development Manager to join our passionate Engineering and Automotive team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference by providing effective leadership alongside teaching and learning to help learners and teachers succeed.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.
You will:
- Assist in overseeing the management and development of curriculum
- Line manage and lead the Automotive team
- Support the implementation of local and college strategies to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment
- Be a key driver in monitor the curriculum area’s performance and implementing the Quality Improvement Plan
- Support teachers and staff to comply with the Group’s quality processes
You will have:
- GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- A relevant degree or professional qualification of an equivalent level
- PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification
- Successful experience of teaching within the Automotive curriculum
- Management experience in FE is desirable but not essential
