We’re looking for a confident, hands-on HR Manager to take ownership of our entire HR function. This is a true standalone role - perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and making things happen.
You’ll be the go-to expert for everything HR, from safer recruitment and safeguarding to employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
What you’ll do
- Lead safer recruitment & safeguarding
- Manage recruitment & onboarding end-to-end
- Handle employee relations with confidence
- Oversee payroll & benefits
- Keep HR systems, records & GDPR compliance in check
- Deliver training & HR insights
- Support health & safety
What you bring
Essential
- Proven experience in a standalone/generalist HR role
- Experience in safeguarding & safer recruitment
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
- Strong employment law knowledge
- Calm, credible approach to ER cases
- Highly organised, discreet, and proactive
