Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic GCSE and A-Level Geography Online Tutor to provide one-to-one online lessons for students in the UK.
The tutor will support students with exam preparation, subject knowledge, essay writing, case studies, and exam technique for GCSE and A-Level Geography.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one online Geography lessons
- Teach GCSE and/or A-Level Geography according to UK exam board requirements
- Help students improve subject understanding, confidence, and exam performance
- Prepare lesson materials where necessary
- Provide feedback after lessons when required
- Support students with exam technique, past papers, and revision strategies
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of GCSE and A-Level Geography
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with UK exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or Cambridge
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and ability to teach online
- Patient, responsible, and student-focused
Preferred:
- Qualified teacher status or relevant degree in Geography / Education
- Experience teaching UK secondary school students
- Availability during after-school hours and weekends
