As a Development Executive at Specialist Risk Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our UK client base within your specialist area. Working closely with colleagues across the Group, you’ll focus on building strong relationships, generating high-quality opportunities, and strengthening SRG’s footprint through partnerships, referrals and market insight. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible in the market and contributing to sustainable growth.
You’ll be responsible for driving new business growth within your specialism by developing trusted relationships, maintaining a strong market presence, and creating a robust pipeline of opportunities across the UK.
- Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients, partners and introducers
- Generating new business opportunities through networking, referrals and pipeline activity
- Acting as a brand ambassador with insurers, affinity partners, introducers and key trading contacts
- Sharing market and sector knowledge to support cross-team collaboration and referrals
- Creating and maintaining a healthy pipeline aligned to annual growth plans
- Supporting marketing activity linked to your specialist area
This role suits someone with strong commercial awareness and a proven background in developing and sustaining client relationships.
Experience growing a portfolio within insurance, risk or a related specialist market- Strong networking skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
- A collaborative approach with a focus on shared success across teams
- Commercial mindset with the ability to spot and progress opportunities
- Comfortable presenting to groups and representing the business at events
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
