Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of early childhood education. Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
- Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
- Maintain accurate records related to children's progress, attendance, and staff performance.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Organise activities that encourage social interaction and physical development among children.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare setting.
- Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to drive is preferred for transportation purposes related to nursery activities.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Desirable
- Qualification in Leadership for Children and Young People's services or working towards
- Current Paediatric First Aid
- Designated Safeguarding Lead training
