Kitchen Manager / Head Chef – Texas Style BBQ Street Food
Location: Digbeth, Birmingham
Days: Thursday to Sunday
We’re an established street food business with a strong reputation, and we’re excited to be opening our new permanent residency in Digbeth, Birmingham. We’re now looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead the kitchen and help drive this next stage of growth.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day kitchen operation, producing outstanding Texas-style BBQ, maintaining exceptional standards, and leading a small team to deliver consistently great food and service.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking high-quality Texas-style BBQ dishes
- Managing kitchen operations during service and prep days
- Leading, motivating and organising a small kitchen team
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Managing stock control, ordering, wastage and margins
- Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation at all times
- Driving standards worthy of a 5-star EHO rating
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Senior Chef
- Experience managing a 5-star EHO rated catering business
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance
- Experience leading a small team in a high-volume environment
- Passion for BBQ, smoked meats and street food culture
- Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
- Reliable, hands-on and committed to high standards
