Stores Person – Full Time, Permanent
Location: Norton, Worcestershire
Reports to: Buyer
We are looking for a proactive and organised Stores Person to join our Supply Chain team. This role is key to keeping our production running smoothly by ensuring stock is received, stored, and issued accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure items are stored correctly
- Allocate stock to the shop floor using the MRP system
- Monitor stock discrepancies and report shortages promptly
Health & Safety
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stores area
- Report hazards or incidents immediately
Administration
- Update stock systems with accurate inventory data
- Scan and file delivery documentation
- Support internal teams with stock‑related queries
- Attend weekly Supply Chain meetings and raise any issues
Customer Service / Internal Support
- Provide stock availability information to other departments
- Handle returns and exchanges in line with company policy

Skills & Experience
- Experience in a stores or warehouse environment (preferred)
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with stock systems (desirable)
- Understanding of warehouse health & safety
- FLT licence or willingness to train

- Able to lift and move stock safely
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physical tasks

Salary range
£26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
Hours
36.50 hours per week, Monday–Friday (13.00 finish on Friday’s)
