Pastoral Coach (term time only)
We are looking for a Pastoral Coach to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, term time only role offering a salary of £26,265 to £28,688 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one coaching for students, setting and reviewing targets to improve their performance, behaviours and welfare.
- Adapt and deliver Thrive Tutorial sessions to groups of students and facilitate discussion activities.
- Build students’ social and cultural capital by creating opportunities for them to engage with wider college life, community experiences, enrichment, current affairs, cultural learning and positive social interaction.
- To be a key member of the Personal Development Process (specifically to drive student attendance and progress across all provision).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
- Minimum Level 2 qualification at grade C/4 in Maths and English
- Knowledge and understanding of how social and cultural capital supports learner confidence, aspiration, employability and progression.
- Experience of using nurturing, coaching or trauma-informed approaches to support young people.
- Delivering group sessions to young people.
- Experience of working with and motivating young people.
