Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Banking Cashier to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the accuracy of financial exchanges. Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information regarding banking and services.
- Maintain precise records of all transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Promote banking products and services to clients where appropriate.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support the team in maintaining a tidy and organised work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in financial services or a customer service role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic maths skills are required to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining precise records.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour are vital for delivering outstanding customer service.
